i don’t think people realise how much time i would spend underwater if i could breathe down there like i would wake up and go straight to the beach or a pool and literally just float underwater and think about everything i can’t imagine anything more peaceful than that

It’s my fucking dream to gather a group of friends and explore a place like this.
Sure, there might be some murders but the survivor will have a story of a lifetime.

I recently discovered a blog named fuckyeahsubversivekawaii. My first impression was that it was a positive blog for sex/gender and other issues put in a blunt way. They also have a pastel style to them so I was interested.
But the more I browse, the more I notice their content is focused on putting down men. Especially if you browse their ‘misandry’ tag they are just borderline glorifying it! Its rediculous how they strive to be open to every kind of people, but they dehumanize men, yet they still have so many supporters. There is absolutely NOTHING open-minded about saying how all men are pigs and use feminism as an excuse! Feminism is about equal rights for both genders, not making females superior and putting men down!
I usually hate talking about these issues. But reading that blog actually made me feel bad for being biologically male, even though I switch with what gender I feel that day. It kind of breaks my heart to see such things. v_v I am sorry if it bothers anyone.
anti-male content in a misandry tag
utterly shocking
1. Feminism is not about equality, it’s about liberation. Feminism is female empowerment, sorry if it doesn’t cater to a man’s ego.
2. Dehumanizing men?! Objectifying them as pigs? Wow, doesn’t that sound familiar?
And you feel bad for being a man? Do you feel degraded? Good. That’s the closest you’ll ever get to oppression.
You kind of failed on the whole “gender equality” thing, but you won on proving why we still need feminism. Come to the front desk to receive your consolation prize, byeeeee.
yo it’s cool that yr sticking up for us and everything but i wanna point out that op is not a man
they’re amab but genderfluid/genderqueer, they say so in the last paragraph
your points are right for the most part but misgendering people isn’t cool and while i’m all for pointing out that op is wrong ten ways from sunday i’m not cool w standing by while people misgender them
i’m not for the obviously dumb stuff and this back-and-forth contest y’all are having but i’m still following for the cool shit they post
I have had a bad night and am just frustrated enough with the world as a whole to add my two cents to this, sorry about that.
So, first off, feminism kind of IS an equality thing. Feminism is not just for us, it’s for everyone; that means men too. It is focused around women’s issues, and what effects they have on men are based entirely around women’s issues (such as how men aren’t supposed to do feminine things because they’re considered “weak”), but men still need it too. Maybe not for the same reasons that women do, but they still aren’t excluded.
Second, WOW, MISANDRY IS JUST AS NOT OKAY AS MISOGYNY? Hating ANYONE for their gender is not okay. Just because there is a group of people belonging to the male gender who think that objectification of the female gender is acceptable, and practice it regularly, in no way means that they all do. Even taking that group of people into account, would you really want to do the same thing to someone that they do to women? Invoke that sort of shame in someone for something they can’t and don’t want to change? What they do is disgusting and unforgivable, it sure as hell doesn’t mean we should do it too.
Third and final ties into the above in that, even if OP had been a man, it would still not be okay to attempt to make them feel that way. To me, feminism is the tool to be used in the effort for equality—in a world where we don’t treat each other like shit based on gender, or at the very least the vast majority of people do not—and if I want to be treated just like anybody else, I sure as hell better treat them the same way. Feminism is not about seeking a place above men, it is about finding solid, even, ground for us both. Men may not be oppressed for their gender, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t presented problems by the patriarchy. No one should have to feel afraid or ashamed for their gender, that doesn’t mean we should spoon feed them in efforts not to offend the people who prove why we need feminism, but we certainly shouldn’t do the same things they do. I’m sure someone will be upset with me about this, if anyone disagrees or thinks I haven’t addressed something, I’m happy to discuss it with them; but I’m super not down with shaming people based on their gender.
Idk man everything is hilarious when I haven’t slept for 20 hours
